Bradford Trucks Old Colony YMCA

In March, Bradford provided two truckloads of soap to the Old Colony YMCA in Eastern Massachusetts to help prevent the spread of COVID-19. The bar soap was distributed to people in need through three unique YMCA programs.
Safe Corners is a street outreach program designed to reduce violence, create the opportunity for peace, and pave the way for youth in the community to connect to positive relationships and opportunities.

The Family Services (Emergency Housing) Program seeks to empower children and families experiencing homelessness to achieve self-sufficiency. The dedicated staff works individually with each family to navigate a complex landscape of resources, from food assistance to transportation to housing searches.
The Residential Treatment Program promotes independent living in
a safe, and clean environment for teenagers, age 16-21, and aids in the seamless transition to living independently.

These programs serve a vital need in the community, and the Old Colony YMCA was incredibly grateful for Bradford’s support.
“We are overwhelmed by the support and generosity of Bradford Soap, providing such an important product [soap] in our efforts to keep
our youth and families safe.”
