Bradford and the Rainforest Alliance Certified™ Seal

Bradford offers soap bases made with sustainable palm oil from Rainforest Alliance Certified™ farms! This allows our customers to use the Rainforest Alliance Certified seal on their packaging and in their advertising.*
  • The cost of Bradford soap bases made with Rainforest Alliance Certified palm oil is comparable to regular vegetable soap base and less expensive than soap base made with RSPO-certified palm oil.
  • Bradford is the first personal care products manufacturer to offer soap noodles and finished bar soap made with palm oil from Rainforest Alliance Certified farms. Bradford is proud to be at the forefront of this move toward sustainable consumer products.

The Rainforest Alliance Certified Seal

The Rainforest Alliance works to conserve biodiversity and ensure sustainable livelihoods by transforming land-use practices, business practices and consumer behavior. Rainforest Alliance Certified farms meet the Sustainable Agriculture Network (SAN) standards. SAN is a coalition of non-profit conservation and rural development groups that promotes efficient agriculture, biodiversity conservation and sustainable community development. Farms that meet the rigorous, third-party standards of the Sustainable Agriculture Network and earn Rainforest Alliance certification, and products made with crops from those farms may bear the Rainforest Alliance Certified seal.

*In order to use the Rainforest Alliance Certified seal, companies must comply with the Requirements and Guidelines for Use of the Rainforest Alliance Trademarks and receive approval to use the seal on each material. The Rainforest Alliance Certified seal is a trademarked symbol and each use has to be pre-approved by the Rainforest Alliance. Please visit seal-guidelines-agriculture.pdf to review the guidelines.
