Did you know that Bradford offers soap bases made with sustainable palm oil from Rainforest Alliance Certified™ farms? The soap base is manufactured according to the Sustainable Agriculture Network’s strict standard that allows companies to put the Rainforest Alliance Certified seal on pack.

  • The cost of Bradford’s sustainable palm oil soap base is comparable to the cost of non-sustainable palm oil and less expensive than RSPO-certified palm oil
  • Bradford was the first personal care products manufacturer to offer soap noodles and finished bar soap made with palm oil from Rainforest Alliance Certified farms. Bradford is proud to be at the forefront of the sustainable palm oil and consumer products movement.
  • The Rainforest Alliance Certified seal assures consumers that the product they are purchasing has been grown and harvested using environmentally and socially responsible practices.

The Rainforest Alliance Certified Seal

The Rainforest Alliance works to conserve biodiversity and ensure sustainable livelihoods by transforming land-use practices, business practices and consumer behavior. Rainforest Alliance Certified farms meet the Sustainable Agriculture Network (SAN) standards. SAN is a coalition of non-profit conservation and rural development groups that promotes efficient agriculture, biodiversity conservation and sustainable community development. Farms that meet the rigorous, third-party standards of the Sustainable Agriculture Network earn Rainforest Alliance certification, and products with crops from those farms may use the Rainforest Alliance Certified seal.
